Judging
begins at 4pm at the Great Hall
0-3 pts
for flavor (overall) NOTE: sweet doesn't necessarily win, we're pretty
savvy judges. Quality and originality are paramount.
0-3 pts for period container based on intricacy and design
0-3 pts for written period documentation depending on how detailed it is.
0-3 pts for your oral presentation and process description.
0-3 pts Color/clarity/appearance (murkiness in a mead, or no head on a
beer detracts from the quality)
0-3 pts. True to style (if you call it a pale ale, it better not taste
like stout)
2 bonus points for
entering something (must be alcoholic) other than mead or beer.
The prize is a bottle of Macallan
